What is a B+ Category license?

In some EEA Member States, drivers who have completed the category B driving test are exempt from taking the category BE driving test and can therefore tow trailers with a maximum authorised mass of up to 12,000 kilograms in their category B licence. What are the requirements for a B+ category license?

Contrary to other licenses for driving, a category B+ driving license is valid for five years.
